Manawatu-Wanganui Golf Courses brought to you by Play New Zealand Golf

From kayaking the Rangitikei, snowboarding the slopes of Mount Ruapehu, to the coastal areas that link Horowhenua and Wanganui the Manawatu-Wanganui region is defined by two river catchments, Whanganui and Manawatu. One of New Zealand's great lakes, the Whanganui River is the longest navigable river in New Zealand.

Also gracing the Manawatu-Wanganui region are the Tararua and the Ruahine mountain ranges - and the three major active North Island volcanoes; Ruapehu, the tallest mountain in the North Island, Ngauruhoe and Tongariro tower overhead.
